SPORT INTERFACE will contribute to the sports specific aspects for one (UNIBAIL-RODAMCO, CFE, BESIX) of the three bidding consortium. At the current stage it aims to study the effective functioning of the King Baudouin Stadium (security standards, access, evacuation, etc) while encouraging synergies between the stadium and the shopping area.

The project consist of the construction of a shopping centre (81,000m2), leisure facilities (min. 15,000m2), housing (750), offices and car parks (3,700).

The NEO Project launched by the City of Brussels and the Region of Brussels Capital: Ambitious and visionary redevelopment of the Plateau of Heysel in Brussels – New strategic focus of international development, economic, tourist, recreational, cultural and living together in the heart of Europe. The second phase, launched in June 2012, selected three groups to run the competitive dialogue procedure.
