Our team & partners
Sport Interface International has access to a worldwide network of experts in sports events management, as well as to consultants in management and marketing. We also partner companies and experts skilled in supply to the socio-economic sector of sport and leisure.
FOUNDERS
Luc Vande
putte specialized in setting up multidisciplinary team in the sector of sport and leisures. From business intelligence, strategic analysis up to project validation, he acts in widely diversified areas, from grassroots missions up to top international management consultancies. His transversal approach is even more appreciated in the current economic situation.
Well-known companies and prestigious institutions entrusted him challenging projects or missions (FIBA Cockpit management; Belgian National Lottery sponsorship strategy; marine industry worldwide rules monitoring; major retail park positioning strategy; european commission lobbying; national stadium design for the World Cup 2018; Belgian top sport training centre cahier des charges; business school consulting and academic missions).
He has more than 33 years' experience in every aspect of sports management in a number of challenging organizational and managerial functions. As Director of the second largest multi-sport event in the world, the "Universiades" (World University Games), he dealt, for 20 years, with about 20 host cities, with some 150 participating countries and more than 40 international sports federations. As Sports and Leisure Manager of one of Belgium's largest sports centre (Sports City in Brussels), he experienced grassroots venue management. Since 2002, he established his own international consultancy.
Luc also acts within the academic sector. He co-founded the Brussels European Sport Management Centre, a centre of excellence in executive education and research at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (former Solvay Business School), University of Brussels (ULB). He serves as expert and tutor for the Executive Master in Sports Organisation Management, sponsored by the International Olympic Committee.
Hughes Moonen, Partner, has more than 30 years of experience in marketing within companies including Nielsen, Campbell's Soup, Seagram, Winterthur Insurance and Inchcape.
Since 1997, he has been President and Managing Director of Geomedia Communication Agency. Hughes also founded Toyota Insurances Belgium and is a board director of several companies.
Graduated in Management (iNSEAD), in economics (FUCAM) Hughes provides Sport Interface with his extended know-how in major strategic issues.
